The first one I ever bought was try me out by corona in 1995.
wow, that's a question that's got me casting my mind back. to tell you the truth i'm really not 100 percent sure what the answer to that question is. possibly "Ain't no doubt" by "Jimmy Nail" in 1992 but like i say, i'm by no means certain with that answer.
Cool! I love that song! I remember it used to be on the radio quite a lot when it was out.
the first single i ever got was do it to me one more time by captain unta neel
Iron Maiden the Number of The Beast.
Iron Maiden the Number of The Beast.
oh my gosh, interesting, i think it'd have to be, very sadly wannabe by the spice girls in 1996. i mostly had now compilations before then.
I can remember some around 1986, but not exactly sure which one would have been first. Stacy Q, two of hearts, Nu Shooz, I Can't Wait, that'll jog your memories for you.
Cool! Sounds like an interesting mixture. I have quite a few now compilations, and actually, I don't tend to buy that many singles now since most of the songs I want are on the compilations.
Hmmm I think the first one I ever got was "I'll Remember" by Madonna. Year 1994? I think?
I'm not sure if it was "Gotta tell you" by Samantha Mumba or "Fool Again" by Westlife *cringe*
I remember my first single I bought well. well who wouldn't remember the significance of candle In The Wind. I was nearly 14 ten years ago when Princess Diana was killed in a horrific car crash in Paris and laid to rest in Althorpe, Northants. That's one of the reasons why I believe my teenage years were jinxed. My cousin Kezia's now 13 and of course, she wouldn't consciously have memories of this nature as she was so young at the time of the car crash, all the press and especially the funeral. I was listening to it all on the radio, crying my blimming eyes out. Worse still for my family, we didn't know my Gran had Ovarian Cancer which could've killed her, had she not had an extremely major operation to remove the huge cyst and basically all her reproductive organs 10 years ago on Saturday. She nearly didn't see all four Grandchildren at the time, grow up, start School, College, she nearly didn't know this time 9 and a half years later, she'd have a fifth 7-month-old Grandchild, Richard James Robertson (Robbie for short). We also lost my Great Grandmother (or rather, Auntie Molly) on Christmas Eve 1997, so all in all, that wasn't a particularly happy year, for a lot of people.
Jen.
The first single I bought was Nobody Wants To Be Lonely by Christina Aguilera and Ricky Martin six or seven years ago when the song first came out, I can't remember which one it was.
